Life can be difficult and from time to time, we all need support and guidance. Counseling provides an experience to develop greater self-awareness by exploring our feelings and understandings of our life circumstances and relationships. As our self-awareness increases, we can be more intentional about the choices we make.
People come to counseling to deal with many different issues from depression and anxiety to family or marital problems. Regardless of the situation, our commitment is to help you grow.
Epiphany Counseling provides a wide variety of psychological testing services. Included among these is testing done for evaluation and diagnosis of emotional difficulties to best determine the most effective treatment strategies. Additionally, testing is done for those wishing to meet state requirements for becoming a law enforcement officer, certification by the FAA to be an air traffic controller, or approval (as required by many insurance companies) to undergo various surgical procedures.
As a clergy family, the DeSobes have a unique understanding of the joys, demands and unusual difficulties of being in full time ministry. Clergy and their families are often isolated without safe spaces to share their emotional concerns.
